Norfolk, Va. – A woman says she was hurt after Norfolk officers collided with her vehicle while they were on the way to a Norfolk middle school on Wednesday.

Officers were responding to a suspicious situation at 1:43 p.m. at Ruffner Middle School.

They were on Tidewater Drive in the southbound lane when they hit a Hyundai.

The driver of that vehicle was a woman in her late 20s to early 30s.

Neither officer in the vehicle was hurt but the woman complained about an injury and was taken to the hospital.
