Suffolk, Va. – A 22-year-old Suffolk man is now facing several charges after police say he abducted and sexually abused a 14-year-old girl.
Trovias K. Mayfield was arrested on November 17th after direct indictment on charges of abduction, extort money or immoral purpose, aggravated sexual battery, and carnal knowledge of a child 13-15 years of age.
Police say this was related to an incident that allegedly happened from May 26th-June 1st.
Mayfield is now being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
