Chesapeake, Va. - Chesapeake Police are investigating the burglary of a local seafood restaurant.

Police say Wicker's Crab Pot on Indian River Road was broken into early Monday morning.

The person or people responsible broke through a glass door and took several items from the restaurant, including a cash register.

"They didn`t stay around long--went and grabbed the cash from the register door and ran out," says owner Ray Wicker, Jr. "I'm hoping the residents and can just be super aware to make sure we will stop any of this from happening to anyone else."

Wicker says he has multiple security cameras in the restaurant and hopes they captured the criminals on tape.

Anyone with any information that could help police is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
