Virginia Beach, Va. - A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in the 4000 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard near the intersection of Stepney Lane.

Virginia Beach Police and EMS were called to the scene at 10:16 a.m.
Members of the Fatal Accident Crash Team are investigating at this time.
The pedestrian, an adult female, was originally taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. However, her condition has been upgraded since then and her injuries are now considered non-life threatening.
