Newport News, Va. – A man is in the hospital after he was shot around 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police say when they arrived they found a 19-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Sergeant Randy Rajkumar with Newport News Police says at this time the victims condition remains undetermined.
He says they don’t know the circumstances that led up to the shooting and have not made any arrest.
