UPDATE: All lanes on Hampton Blvd are now open for normal traffic.
Norfolk, Va. – A blown transformer is causing traffic issues near the Midtown Tunnel in Norfolk.
All northbound and southbound Hampton Boulevard traffic from W. Princess Anne Road and the Midtown Tunnel is being diverted.
The tunnel is open but all Midtown Tunnel traffic coming from Portsmouth is being diverted onto Brambleton Avenue and all Midtown Tunnel traffic from Norfolk to Portsmouth must use Brambleton Avenue to approach the tunnel.
Dominion Power is on scene.
