It’s warming up, then cooling down….As we move through our Thursday, get ready for another warm day across Hampton Roads and NE North Carolina as southwesterly winds usher in highs in the mid and upper  70s by afternoon. We’ll see mostly sunny skies during the day and partly cloudy skies by night as a weak cold front moves in from the north. There will be little moisture with the front as it crosses, so we’re expecting dry weather. Low temperatures will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. On Friday, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 60s. By Saturday, more sunshine is in the forecast with highs in the middle 60s. High temps will approach 70 by Sunday. Skies will become partly sunny as another cold front approaches the area. A few isolated showers will be possible as well.

Tonight: Mostly Clear and Cool. Overnight low temperatures in the upper 40s inland; low to mid 50s closer to the coast. Winds: S 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly Sunny to Partly Cloudy. Warm. High temperatures in the mid and upper 70s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Friday: Sun and Clouds. Cooler. High temperatures in the mid and upper 60s. Winds: N 5-15 mph.
