Suffolk’s Drive-In Movie Theater is not just a bunch of ‘hocus pocus’

Suffolk, Va.- Want to experience movies in an old fashion way?  Bennett’s Creek Park is the place to be on Saturday, October 24, 2015.

The park will be recreating the 1950’s movie scene transforming into a  Drive-In Movie Theater.

The event is free and open to the public, so be sure to get there early as parking will be opened at 5 p.m.

From the comfort of your own car, blanket, or lawn chair you can settle down with Suffolk Parks and Recreation as they will be showing the Halloween Classic Hocus Pocus at 6:30 p.m.

Kid friendly festivities will include face painting, crafts, and bounce houses.

Synopsis of the film:

Halloween night will never be the same after three 17th century witches are accidentally conjured up in present-day Salem where they brew a hilarious cauldron of mischief and mayhem. Bette Midler stars with Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy bringing her outrageous antics to this fun-filled tale of madness, mayhem, and witchcraft” – Walt Disney Pictures.

No outside food or drink is allowed. A concession stand will be available with food and treats.  Pets are welcomed but must be on a leash when outside of your vehicle.
