Newport News, Va. – Two different people stole alcohol from an ABC store on Jefferson Avenue twice within three hours of each other on September 23.
The first incident happened around 3:00 p.m. A man entered the store, picked up a bottle of alcohol, put it in his backpack, and left the store without paying for the bottle.
The second incident happened around 6:00 p.m. A different man came into the store, put several bottles of alcohol in his backpack, and left the store without paying for the bottles.
Police have not said if these incidents are related.
