York County, Va. – A 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old have been charged with shooting into a York County home on Sunday.
The shooting in the 100 block of Ponsonby Drive happened at approximately 11:45pm. None of the three adults and two juveniles in the home at the time were hurt.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office learned the shooting was in retaliation for an earlier fight that had occurred in Poquoson, and arrested 23-year-old Kenneth Abbot on Tuesday. Abbot was charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling.
The 17-year-old was also charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and is currently being held at the Merrimac Center.
