Norfolk anticipates 2nd annual Visual Arts Week

Norfolk, Va.- The Cultural Capital of Virginia, better known as Norfolk, will be holding the 2nd annual Visual Arts Week from October 10-18.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to come see the exciting visual arts opportunities that Norfolk offers.

The official week will begin on October 10 and 11 with the Chesapeake Bay Art Association’s 53rd Annual Ocean View Art Show. The art show, which is the oldest and largest artist run show, can be enjoyed from 10 am to 5 pm on both days at Ocean View Beach Park.

Beginning on October 15, Norfolk’s Arts District will be hosting the NEON Festival.

This festival will be  a celebration of energy, art and light that is guaranteed to delight all involved.

The week will conclude with the 2015 Stockley Gardens Fall Arts Festival which will feature fine art, live entertainment and fun kids’ activities.

The Visual Arts Week includes many other ongoing exhibits and fun ways to experience visual arts.
