Cramerton, NC- Authorities are investigating the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl in North Carolina.

Haley Porter was last seen leaving Stuart Cramer High in Cramerton, North Carolina at 3 p.m. on Monday. The 14-year-old girl is believed to be with an older man, but family and police disagree about whether she left willingly.

According to WBTV, Porter’s mother, Roxanne Hunsucker, says she knew that Porter was having a relationship with a 19-year-old man which she disapproved of. After filing charges against the man and later dropping them, Hunsucker is unclear whether the relationship continued. Authorities believe Porter is with this same man headed to Arizona.

Hunsucker believes her daughter was forcefully taken because she claims Porter would not leave without calling.

“She has no reason to run away,” Hunsucker said. “She knows how I worry and how we all worry about her.”

Porter did not take any money, did not have any extra clothes and did not pack her makeup before leaving, which causes her family to think she was forced to leave.

“She’s very particular about her makeup and doing her eyebrows. So for her to leave all of her makeup, it’s very odd.”

The family has asked police to issue an Amber Alert, but because officials believe Porter has left willingly, there will be no statewide alert.

It is believed that Haley Porter and the unnamed man are traveling to Arizona in a red Chevrolet.
