Norfolk, Va. – A motorcyclist is in the hospital after he was run off of the road by an SUV on Monday.
It happened around 7:15 p.m. on the 4200 block of Granby Street.
Police found the 45-year-old motorcyclist lying on the ground unconscious.
Medics took the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.
Police say witnesses told them that the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Granby Street when a black Mercedes SUV M-Class merged into the motorcyclist’s lane.
The Mercedes did not stop.
Police are asking anyone with information about this crash, or any information on the Mercedes that fled the scene, to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
