Newport News, Va. – Crews have started working on the first part of the I-64 widening project.
From September 13 through September 17, the eastbound right lane between exit 250 of Fort Eustis Boulevard and exit 225 of Jefferson Avenue will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
The closures are required for milling and paving work in the shoulder lane.
No daytime closures are planned at this time.
