Thursday’s VIPIR Forecast: More storms and a cool down

More rain but cooler ahead… A cold front will slide through the region today, bringing us more showers and storms. Today will be warm and muggy with highs back into the upper 80s. Highs will slide into the mid 80s for Friday and low 80s this weekend. Rain chances will dip for Friday with just a few leftover isolated showers. Rain and storm chances will increase for the weekend as an area of low pressure slides up the Mid-Atlantic coast. Expect more sunshine and cool temperatures early next week.

Tropical Update

Tropical Storm Henri is slowly drifting north near Bermuda. Henri is about 230 miles ESE of Bermuda. It is moving north at just 3 mph but is expected to move quicker later today. Slow strengthening is possible over the next few days. Henri is expected to remain several hundred miles off of the East Coast.
