Portsmouth, Va. – Police are investigating after a man was wounded in a shooting in Portsmouth Thursday evening.
A 911 call about the shooting in the 700 block of Hancock Ave was received at 6:23pm.
The man was shot in the upper extremities, according to police, and was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
