UPDATE: Investigators have determined that the man on the roof was a contractor carrying tools, including a calking gun. They believe that the people who called them mistook this for a handgun while the contractor was on the roof.

Gloucester County, Va. – A lockdown of business in the area of 6900 Main Street in Gloucester has been lifted.

The Gloucester County Sheriff’s office had placed the businesses on lockdown after receiving a call at 7:35pm about a person walking on the roof of the Dollar General with a gun.
