Virginia Beach police searching for suspect that robbed B&L Mart on Tuesday

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Police need your help in finding a suspect who robbed a B&L Food Mart in Virginia Beach.

It happened at 4569 Bonney Road on September 1 around 10 p.m.

The unknown suspect shoved an employee, jumped the counter and took money from the register.

The suspect left and ran behind the store, jumping a fence towards the I-264 ramp.

The suspect is described to be a male in his mid to late 20s.

He was wearing a dark colored shirt, white long-sleeved shirt, black pants, black shoes, white gloves, a wig and a black and purple hat.
