Williamsburg, Va. – The Peninsula Health District needs your help to find a dog that bit someone in Williamsburg.

They are looking for a medium sized dog that has long black, white and gray hair.

The dog was being walked by two teens at the time when it bit someone on August 27th in the Clinton Gardens neighborhood.

This is off Mt. Vernon Avenue.

If this dog is not found, the person may have to undergo treatment for the prevention of rabies.

Health officials do not plan to take the dog away from its owner. The animal will only be placed on an in-home confinement period of 10 days.

If you have seen a dog that fits this description in this area, please call the Williamsburg Health Center at 757-603-4277.
