Hampton, Virginia – A man was shot in the 100 block of Cameron Street around 1:40 am Tuesday morning, according to Hampton Police.
Officers arrived on scene to find the 18-year-old victim suffering from a minor injury. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The victim told police he was shot around midnight by an unknown person while walking in the area of Bainbridge Avenue and Cameron Street.
Due to the late reporting of the shooting and other inconsistencies discovered through the investigation, the shooting and motive remain under investigation.
