Virginia Beach, Va. – The Virginia Beach Department of Utilities will make emergency repairs to a defective manhole on Independence Boulevard near the intersection of Shore Drive.
Weather permitting, work will begin at 7 p.m. and will be completed by 11 p.m.
During this time, southbound traffic on Independence Boulevard will be reduced to one lane. Warning signs will be posted, advising motorists of the lane closure.
