15-year-old arrested in theft of cars from Goode’s Automotive in Newport News

Newport News, Va. - A 15-year-old has been arrested in the theft of four cars from Goode's Automotive in July.

The Hampton teen was arrested with the assistance of Hampton Police on Tuesday and charged with burglary and three counts of grand larceny of auto for his role in the July 19th burglary.

Police continue to ask for the public’s assistance in identifying the person in the above video.

Property Crimes Detectives believe the gentleman shown in the video was with the juvenile at the time of the burglary and remains wanted for these crimes.

Anyone with information on this burglary is asked to call the Newport News Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Crime Line is completely anonymous and if their tip leads to an arrest, they could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.
