Man accused of stealing items from vehicles on ODU Campus

Norfolk, Va. – A 23-year-old man has been accused of taking items from vehicles on the campus of Old Dominion University.

Police have arrested Robert Andrew Martin of Portsmouth. He has been charged with three counts of entering a vehicle with the intent to commit a crime and two counts of petit larceny.

Martin was also wanted on an outstanding warrant from Portsmouth for contempt of court.

He was turned over to the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office.

Police have also found other items that may have been stolen from other vehicles around the university.
