Hampton Police looking for two men in connection to attempted robbery at Sonic

Hampton, Va. – Hampton Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two people in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred on July 7th.

The incident occurred at the Sonic restaurant in the 2000 block of Mercury Boulevard.

An investigation revealed that a man entered the business, displayed a gun and demanded money. The victim was unable to provide the man with any money and the man fled from the scene in a dark-colored 4-door vehicle with tinted windows.

The man is described as a black male, 5’8, 140-150 pounds, last seen wearing a grey or white shirt, dark pants, white shirt over his head, and a blue bandana covering his face.

There is no description for the driver of the vehicle, but police are also looking for him in connection to this incident.
