Hampton, Va. – Two men were shot on West Cummings Avenue in Hampton Monday night, according to Hampton Police.
Officials received a call at 11:11 PM that shots were fired in the 1st block of West Cummings Avenue. Officers arrived on scene and found a 31-year-old Hampton man suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to a local area hospital where he remains in stable condition.
During the investigation, officials received a call about a second shooting victim, a 23-year-old Hampton man, who arrived at the Sentara Careplex. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that the two men were injured during the same incident.
