PORTSMOUTH, Va. – One person was sent to the hospital after a shooting in Portsmouth on Sunday.
Portsmouth Police say they received a call at 8:02 PM that an adult male was shot in the leg at the intersection of Godwin Street and Clifford Street. Police say the victim was walking in the area when he heard two to three gunshots and realized he was struck.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. Police say his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
There are no reported suspects at this time.
