ODU issues safety warning after late-night robbery

Norfolk, Va – Old Dominion University has issued a safety warning after someone was robbed by a group of people early Saturday morning.

Norfolk police received the report of the robbery around 2:30 a.m., near the intersection of Bowden’s Ferry Road and West 43rd Street.

ODU officials say the victim was approached by a group of five or six males, one brandished a knife, threatened the victim and took his personal property.

The victim was not injured.
