Hampton police searching for men who robbed convenience store

2Hampton, Va. – Hampton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who robbed a convenience store on Wednesday and are also suspects in a 7-11 robbery.

The two men entered the Come and Go convenience store in the 2200 block of Kecoughtan Road around 11:34pm and demanded money at gunpoint. The two then ran from the store.

One employee was assaulted and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No customers were hurt during the robbery.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, last seen wearing a scarf over his face, black hooded top, black pants, and white gloves.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male, last seen wearing a scarf over his face, black hooded top, black pants and white gloves.

1Police say the two are also related to the robbery of the 7-11 located in 1600 block of East Pembroke Avenue that same day.

If anyone saw these individuals fleeing the area and can help investigators determine where they went after fleeing the business they are urged to contact the Hampton Police Division at 727-6111 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting “HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip” to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00.
