Norfolk, VA – 38-year-old Terrence Taylor is being held without bond at the Norfolk City Jail after allegedly stabbing his roommate.

He was arrested for malicious wounding.

Kenneth Dolberry lives with both men and said an argument between the two men turned violent.

“I can’t believe that he stabbed him.  I didn’t know was gonna go that far,” said Dolberry.

Dolberry said he called 911 after his roommate was stabbed and brought him out on the porch.

“I don’t know why he did it Ms. Your guess is as good as mine but all of us live in the same place together,” said Dolberry.

Norfolk Police confirmed that the suspect and the victim live together.

They said they were called to the 2,400 block Lafayette Blvd. at 1:30 Sunday afternoon.

They said they found a man suffering from a stab wound and took him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Police said, last they heard, the man is in serious, but stable condition.

Dolberry said his roommate was stabbed in the back.

Other neighbors tell NewsChannel 3 they’ve heard the two men fight.

Dolberry admits there has been some arguing but nothing as violent as this in the past.
