Virginia Beach, Va. – Virginia Beach Public Works has announced a temporary closure of Albright Drive between Lynnhaven Parkway and Ashton Drive (north of Lynnhaven) from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Crews will be installing sanitary sewer facilities at the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Albright Drive, officials say.
Signs for the detour route will be posted which will direct drivers to use Indian River Road to Indian Lakes Road, Ferrell Parkway, and Kempsville Road. Access to residences on this portion of Albright Drive will be maintained at all times during the closure.
Once the work is completed, the roadway will be reopened to traffic.
All work is weather permitting.
