Man wanted for armed robbery at Boost Mobile in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – Police are investigating an armed commercial robbery to a Norfolk business.

Police were called to Boost Mobile located at 3201 East Ocean View Avenue on May 13, 2015 shortly after 6:00 p.m., regarding an armed robbery.

Employees told police that a man entered the business, displayed a gun, and demanded money. The employee complied, and the man fled the store before police arrived. No one was injured, police say.

The suspect is described as a black man, late 20s to early 30s, 6’1”-6’2”, 190 pounds with short hair, wearing a dark sweat shirt with a hood, and blue shorts.

The suspect is believed to be connected to the robberies listed below, that have occurred in Norfolk since April 21, 2015.

April 22, 2015 9:00 pm, Church’s Chicken located at 7600 Hampton Blvd
April 23, 2015 7:00 pm, MetroPCS located at 3016 E. Princess Anne Road
April 27, 2015 6:30 pm, Subway located at 4140 Granby Street
April 28, 2015 8:45 pm, 7-11 located at 1230 Redgate Avenue
April 29, 2015 7:25 pm, Shell Gas Station located at 3801 Hampton Blvd
May 6, 2015 1:45 pm, MetroPCS located at 155 E. Little Creek Road
May 7, 2015 5:40 pm, MetroPCS located at 3016 E. Princess Anne Road
May 11, 2015 11:45 am, MetroPCS located at 3016 E. Princess Anne Road
May 11, 2015 11:52 am, MetroPCS located at 4616 E. Princess Anne Road
May 13, 2015 6:10 pm, Boost Mobile located at 3201 E. Ocean View Ave
