Two women arrested on crack cocaine charges in Dare County

Dare County, N.C. – Two women have been arrested for allegedly transporting crack cocaine into Dare County.

On April 28th, the Dare County Narcotics Task Force conducted a traffic stop on Stephanie Michelle Blount after complaints she was making frequent trips to Dare County to sell the narcotics.

43-year-old Blount and 32-year-old Jacinda Maurita Farrow were found in possession of crack individually bagged for sale and arrested.

Blount was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Cocaine, Conspire to Sell/Deliver Cocaine and Maintain Vehicle for Controlled Substance. She was released on a $11,000 bond

Farrow was charged with possession of cocaine and released on a $10,000 bond.

The Dare County Drug Task Force is made up of the following agencies:

Dare County Sheriff’s Office, Nags Head Police Department, Kill Devil Hills Police Department, Kitty Hawk Police Department, NC State Bureau of Investigations and NC Alcohol Law Enforcement.
