VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A man will spend the next 15 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to sex trafficking a 15-year-old girl and using the Internet to promote prostitution.
According to documents, Alvin Norlee Moore, III met the teen in November and started to use her as a prostitute at hotels on the Oceanfront and other spots around Virginia Beach.
He advertised her services online and after a few weeks, she was able to return home. Her family then let police know what happened to her.
Moore also had others who were doing the same thing around the Hampton Roads area.
The 29-year-old, according to documents, has been abusing young women since 2010.
He was arrested in Virginia Beach but was then transferred to federal custody.
