Young golfers compete at Augusta National, home of the Masters

Virginia Beach, Va. - Two local golfers are headed to Augusta National to compete in the 3rd annual Drive, Chip and Putt competition. The competition is a nationwide golf development initiative for boys and girls ages 7-15 years old. Young golfers must qualify to compete and only 80 finalists make it to Augusta.

Everett Whiten Jr. from Chesapeake and Katherine Schuster from Kill Devil Hills both qualified to compete in this years Drive, Chip and Putt. News Channel 3's Makenzie Walter caught up with them on the course to see how excited they are to compete on such a prestigious golf course.
