Newport News, Va. - A woman lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the Newport News courthouse on Wednesday.

Police say the woman had a non life-threatening medical issue involving a prosthetic leg, and that is what led to the crash.

Crews responded to the Newport News courthouse located in the 2500 block of Washington Avenue following the crash.

The woman struck a Nissan vehicle before hitting the front of the courthouse building, police say. The window of the building is now bent.

No one was injured. No charges are pending at this time.
