York County - Bethel Mobile Home Park was evacuated late Monday night while investigators searched a home for explosives.

Alan Blischak

Alan Blischak was arrested in Dale City, Virginia and charged with bomb manufacturing and threats to bomb after Prince William County investigators responded to a HAZMAT call.

Prince William County investigators learned Blischak had another home in Yorktown.

Prince William County Police, with the assistance of the Prince William County Fire Marshall's Office, York-Poquoson and Newport News Bomb Squads, Virginia State Police Bomb and K-9 Squads and the Department of Homeland Security executed search warrant on Blischak's Yorktown home in the 3500 block of Hampton Highway.

Investigators say one incendiary device was found. They have not yet said what that device was.

During the search, the mobile home park was evacuated.

"We answered the door and it was a York County deputy who said we are probably going to have to evacuate the area and they're waiting for search warrants," says neighbor John Grabinski.

Prince William County General District Court says Blischak had a bond hearing that was held Monday morning. He was granted $50,000 bond. The Adult Detention Center in Prince William County said he bonded out yesterday.

More charges could be pending.
