A new emoticon has made some Facebook users angry.

Critics say the “feeling fat” status update is really making fun of obesity, as well as eating disorders.

Now, there’s a petition on change.org to ban the “feeling fat” emoji.

“As someone who has struggled with and overcome disordered eating, I know what it’s like to ‘feel’ fat. I have spent years of my life consumed with negative thoughts about my body, and far too many days starving myself in an effort to lose weight,” Catherine Weingarten wrote on the petition.

The petition has more than 15,000 supporters so far.
