Norfolk, Va. - A 23-year-old woman has been charged for allegedly shooting and seriously injuring a man in a Norfolk apartment complex on Tuesday night.

Calls came in at around 8:28 p.m. reporting the shooting in the 7600 block of Gifford Street.
Police say when they arrived, they found the 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.
Hannah Bergee, 24, has been charged with one count each of Malicious Wounding and Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony. She is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail with no bond.
Police say this is domestic related. The relationship between the man and the woman is unknown.
No one else was injured.
