Suffolk, Va. – On Tuesday night, crews responded to a gas leak at the Ace Hardware Corporation Import and Redistribution Center.
The facility is located in the 2400 block of Holland Road.
Officials say a forklift hit a gas line inside of the building.
Calls came in at around 9:40 p.m. about the odor of gas.
All employees were able to get out.
The gas at the meter was secured and the building was ventilated.
Crews did air quality checks and cleared the scene.
