Two men wanted for 7-Eleven robbery in Hampton

Hampton, Va. – Police are searching for two men wanted for robbery in Hampton.

It happened on January 17, 2015. At 1:27 a.m., Hampton Police responded to the 7-Eleven located in the 1400 block of Big Bethel Road in reference to a robbery from business complaint.

Police say two male suspects entered the business, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money and tobacco products, the suspects ran away from the business towards Ponderosa Drive.

When the robbery occurred, there were no patrons inside and no one was injured, police say.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5’9-5’10, 180-200 pounds, last seen wearing a black zipper hoodie, blue knit cap, blue jeans, black gloves, white t-shirt and white stretchy cloth over his face.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’4-5’5, 160-190 pounds, last seen wearing a black quilted jacket with an orange logo on the back collar, black sweatshirt, black knit facemask, blue jeans, white gloves, and a blue flannel drawstring bag.

Anyone with information that will assist police is encouraged to contact the Hampton Police Division at 727-6111 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting “HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip” to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
