Woman rescued from vehicle after head-on collision in Suffolk

Suffolk, Va. – A woman had to be rescued from her vehicle on Monday afternoon after she became trapped inside.

This happened after a Saturn and a Toyota Scion collided head on off Kings Fork Road in the 1000 block of Boundary Drive.

One of the drivers, an 18-year-old woman, was rescued from her vehicle.

She was treated and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver and the passenger in the other vehicle were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The road had to be closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
