Newport News, Va. – A gas leak on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News is causing a multi-lane closure, according to Newport News police.
There is currently a multi-lane closure on Jefferson Avenue northbound at Langley Avenue.
The left turn lane, left thru lane, and the center lane will be closed until 11 p.m. tonight, according to police. The single right-lane will remain open. The left turn lane will be closed southbound on Jefferson Avenue at Langley Avenue (turning in to Anderson’s parking lot).
