Man wanted for armed robbery of KFC/Taco Bell on Indian River Road

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are searching for a suspect wanted for armed robbery of the KFC/Taco Bell on Indian River Road.

On Tuesday, December 16 at 7:35 p.m., the unidentified suspect entered the KFC/Taco Bell located at 6544 Indian River Road. The suspect displayed a handgun, jumped the counter and demanded money from the employees, police say. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect was last seen crossing Indian River Road and getting into a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 30s, approximately 5’ 11” tall, approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a brown hoodie and a black hat. The lower portion of his face was covered.
