Portsmouth, Va. – Portsmouth Police are currently investigating a reported stabbing in the 400 block of Green Street.
Police received calls around 5:13 p.m. from a homeowner reporting a victim whom they thought had been shot.
The adult male victim with injuries to his neck knocked on the door of the home and asked for assistance.
Officers and medics arrived on scene and found the man suffering from injuries consistent with being stabbed.
He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The extent of his injuries is not known at this time.
There is no suspect or motive information at this time.
