Dare County, N.C. – A Kill Devil Hills woman is now facing heroin related charges in Dare County, according to Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard.
On November 12, 2014, Dare County Narcotics Task Force Officers seized opiates from a Kill Devil Hills woman as a result of an ongoing investigation.
Task Force Officers stopped a vehicle in Kill Devil Hills. During the course of the stop, officers discovered and seized the prescription type-opiates.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Sarah Sharp Prior of Kill Devil Hills. She is charged with trafficking in opium or heroin.
Prior has been committed to the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bond.
