Suffolk, Va. – An adult and child have been displaced due to a house fire this afternoon in Suffolk. The fire took place on the 2800 block of North Shore Drive.

Emergency Dispatchers received the call at 12:48 p.m. and the first unit arrived to the scene at 12:54 p.m. Suffolk Fire and Rescue arrived to find a single story residential structure with smoke coming from the front of the home. The fire was under control at 1:05 p.m.
