Norfolk, Va. - Dominion Virginia Power responded to Lake Taylor High School this morning to repair a cable that failed around 6:30 a.m., causing an outage to the school.
Students arrived to the school this morning, and found that there was no power.
Students who drove to school were dismissed.
Students who ride the bus were dismissed at 9:30 a.m.
A reverse phone call went out to parents, officials say.
Crews expect to make repairs and get the lights back on by 1 p.m. Friday afternoon.
