UPDATE: Power has been restored to most customers in Downtown Norfolk. Dominion Power expects everyone to be restored by 11 p.m. tonight.
Norfolk, Va. – Thousands of customers are without power in the Downtown Norfolk area according to Dominion Power.
They say about 5, 459 customers were affected and about 1, 648 customers were able to find another source of power.
They say the outage was caused by a switch around 26th Street.
