Newport News, Va. - It's day two in the trial against a man accused of murdering two teenagers in 2008.

Today we're expecting to hear from witnesses to the deadly shooting six years ago and what evidence the prosecution may have against Floyd Taybron.

Two prosecutors from the Office of Attorney General Mark Herring  are trying to prove Floyd Lee Taybron is the gunman who killed two teens back in 2008.

Investigators say the then 16-year-old Taybron shot and killed a 15-year-old and another 16-year-old in a gang fight on 35th Street on December 30, 2008.

It took four and half years as one of the Peninsula's Most Wanted.

But last year - officers finally arrested Taybron during a traffic stop.

NewsChannel 3 profiled the Hampton man several times in our Taking Action Against Crime series.

Even though he was 16 at the time of the deadly shooting - he is being charged as an adult for the two murders.

The jury trial will resume later this morning at 10 a.m.
