Virginia Beach. Va. - A Virginia Beach woman faces multiple charges after she was pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving with three children in her car.
32-year-old Jennifer Marie Benjamin was charged with DWI, Drinking in Public and three counts of Abuse and Neglect of a Child (Felony).
Police initially responded to reports of a dispute involving a possibly intoxicated woman who had driven off on Witchduck Road on Saturday. A description of Benjamin's black, 1994 Toyota 4Runner was broadcast and a few minutes later an officer spotted her speeding SUV.
Three children under the age of 12 were inside the SUV with her.
Benjamin is being held without bond.
